I provide teletherapy to adults and couples navigating patterns…
associated with anxiety & rumination, over-functioning, intellectualization, early attachment wounds (specifically effects of emotional neglect), and other impacts of trauma. My therapeutic frame is based in: Relational Therapy & Interpersonal Neurobiology, Coherence Therapy, and Somatic Therapy. If you are interested in learning more about these modalities and my specialties, I have included brief summaries below.
Relational Therapy:
The relationship in the room is the instrument. Together we look at how you learned to connect early on, how those patterns show up in your life now, and what it takes to relate differently — starting with the two of us.
Coherence Therapy:
Coherence Therapy works from the premise that your symptoms are coherent — they're doing something necessary, based on something you learned. Instead of building skills to manage them, we locate the emotional learning underneath and give your brain the experience it needs to update it. When the learning changes, the symptom stops being required.
Somatic Therapy:
There is a continuous interplay between our mind and our physiology. Bringing present-moment awareness to this phenomenon strengthens the relationship with ourselves and helps bring coherence to our experience. When attuned to the body, there is more information to work with.
“Your mind keeps the score, and you body is the score card” - Lisa Feldman-Barret
The goal of Experiential Therapy is to create the conditions that allow for lasting change.
But creating those conditions looks different for everyone — which is why I'm trained in multiple modalities. Together, we find the most effective way for your system to reach a state that allows for a full experience of both past and present. The tools are different, but all of them are in service of getting you to the right conditions. See the modalities offered below:

EFT is an evidence-based, humanistic approach that views emotions as the core organizer of experience. Primarily a couples modality, change occurs when dysfunctional patterns are identified and are understood as an expression of an underlying emotions.
-
Psychologically, you are made up of multiple parts. Each one tasked or burdened with a role.
We get to know the parts that protect you, the ones that push, and the ones that got left behind, the ones who check us out— and help them stop working against each other and bring more harmony in our system.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy and Brainspotting are brief, focused protocols that use bilateral stimulation, eye position and guided imagery to help the brain re-file a distressing memory/belief/pattern so it loses its charge.
These methods do not require you to talk about or disclose your trauma/memory.

-
A gentle, sequence-based approach that follows the earliest orienting and shock responses in the brainstem. Especially useful for attachment wounds and events that words never quite reached.
Profoundly somatic, we are working with the body’s natural response to potential threat; this is typically experienced as bodily sensations as the charge is metabolized within session.

When we understand our patterns make sense, we can look towards the narratives & cognitive mechanisms that keep them repeating. We map the patterns, test them against what is actually true, and build awareness in service to re-writing our stories.

Guiding someone else's self-exploration is a genuine honor…
and I don't take that trust lightly. I bring presence, humility, curiosity, and humor to the work — and I prioritize understanding you over performing expertise. My style is warm and direct, both at once. I help clients bring unconscious patterns into awareness and build a steadier, more compassionate relationship with their whole system — body, mind, and whatever you call the rest.
